How to Organize A Chapter

How to Organize a Chapter

The Department of Chapters and Affiliates must be contacted concerning interest in starting a chapter.

The organizing chapter shall conduct an intensive membership campaign for at least 30 days.

1. Only with the guidance and permission of the National office may an organizing chapter deal with critical issues in the community.

2. A minimum of 50 to 100 members must be acquired depending on the demographics of the city. This is required to start a chapter. Membership applications must be completed on all members and all fees collected must be sent to the National office to the attention of the Department of Chapters and Affiliates.

Once permission is granted to organize a chapter and the membership information has been forwarded to the National office and reviewed a Chapter Development and Policy Manual, which includes an in depth overview of ICQ Policies and Guidelines, will be sent to the organizing chapter.
